PRIVACY POLICY
Last Update: December 1, 2024
WHO WE ARE
EFX Sports (“EFX”) operates this website (https://efxsports.com/). We know the importance of privacy, so we are dedicated to protecting the privacy of our website visitors and customers.
This privacy policy has been compiled to serve our customers and website users who are more concerned about how their ‘Personally Identifiable Information’ (PII) is used. US policy defines PII as information that can be used alone or in combination with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person or to identify an individual in context.
Please read our privacy policy to learn how we collect, use, and protect your PII when interacting with our website.
WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT AND WHY WE COLLECT IT
ANALYTICS
Like most website operators, EFX collects non-personally identifying information that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. EFX collects this information to better understand how its visitors use its website. From time to time, EFX may release non-personally identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
COMMENTS
EFX also collects potentially personally identifying information from users commenting on the site. We collect the data in the comments form, the visitor’s IP address, and the browser user agent string to help detect spam.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION
Certain visitors to EFX’s website choose to interact with EFX in ways that require EFX to gather Personally Identifiable Information (PII). The amount and type of information that EFX gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. Generally, this information is requested when you create an account on the site, purchase, enter a contest, subscribe to comments, put yourself on a product waiting list, make a product request, or sign up for our e-mail newsletter.
During these interactions, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information, or other details. EFX collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with EFX. EFX does not disclose personally identifying information other than what is described below. Visitors can always refuse to supply personally identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

EFX discloses potentially personally identifying and personally identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information to process it on EFX’s behalf or to provide services available at EFX’s website and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations may be located outside your home country; using EFX’s website, you consent to transfer such information to them. We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the campaign’s services. However, we may share your Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services. These may include platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in delivering text messages.
Other than to its employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations, as described above, EFX discloses potentially personally identifying and personally identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order, or other governmental requests or when EFX believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of EFX, third parties, or the public at large.
Suppose you are a registered user of the EFX website and have supplied your email address. In that case, EFX may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or keep you up to date with what’s going on with EFX and our products. We primarily use our various product blogs to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum.
If you send us a request (for example, via a support email or one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. EFX takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction of potentially personally identifying and personally identifying information.
HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
We also store the personal information provided by users who register on our website (if any) in their user profiles. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
All information collected while purchasing in our online store (sales data) is kept indefinitely for tax purposes and is not entitled to erasure.
Information collected during the newsletter signup process can be removed by unsubscribing (see the bottom of any newsletter email). Product requests are kept indefinitely for further consideration or until a privacy request is made for them to be erased (see below).
WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we must keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION
We take the security of your personally identifying information very seriously. That’s why our site is equipped with SSL, or Secure Socket Layer, a security technology that establishes an encrypted link between a web server and browser, ensuring that all data passed between the web server and browsers remains private and integral.
