It has finally been done: a peanut butter and jelly flavored protein shake that actually tastes like…peanut butter and jelly! Rejoice!! I have tried so many combinations and seen tons of recipes online that used the same combinations I tried and they were all decent. But, they all fell short of tasting like actual peanut butter and jelly. The answer to this dilemma was found in a most unlikely place: an art supply store.
The idea for all of my chocolate candies originally came from my friend Ron. One day, he told me he made chocolate out of coconut oil, and he brought some into the gym where I worked. I was amazed! It tasted like chocolate, felt like chocolate, looked like chocolate, but it was healthy. Here is a very cool idea for summer: Peanut Butter Banana Builder Protein Ice Cream! This is what you could eat to pack on muscle mass for some serious ‘gainz’ while keeping cool this summer. It’s made with neutral flavor Karbolyn and EFX Sports Vanilla Pure Whey protein. The entire recipe makes about a pint and has around 1,300 calories. So, if you want to split it with your significant other, it would be about 650 calories each. If you want to split it four ways, then it’s about 325 calories… and… well, you get the picture.
