Key lime pie is a popular Florida food because you can grow just about anything citrus in your yard when you live there. I lived in Florida for about eight years, and never tried key lime anything. Shame on me! The first time I ever tried a key lime was two days ago… and in Wisconsin. Go figure.
Lately, I have been eating a lot of rice cakes, and noticing that they have a lot in common with two things: 1) Styrofoam; and 2) tasteless cheese doodles. They certainly have some fun-factor and delightful crunch, but the disappointment begins once they touch your taste buds. Yawn. What to do….what to do… I know!!! Unicorns are fun, cheesecake is fun, and Karbolyn and protein are definitely fun! This certainly has some potential.
The way this shake tasted was a pleasant surprise! I half expected it to taste like a mild form of Chinese torture, but I was wrong! Thighs everywhere can rejoice! Honestly, it tasted great.
