We all hear about the fantastic benefits of berries; that they can do this and that for your health. So, why not include them all in a shake? Kinda like an umbrella policy for your body. Not only do they contain fiber, but they contain a whole host of phytochemicals, anthocyanins, and bioflavonoids that do everything from helping fight Parkinson’s disease to managing diabetes. Humans as a species have evolved to eat these. Some call berries “Super Foods” but I call them “Nature’s Candy”, designed by nature to taste good so we eat them.
Here is a crowd-pleasing taco salad that the whole family will love! I’ve heard there are actually olive and (gasp!) avocado haters out there. So, to please even the pickiest eaters, serve this buffet style by keeping the ingredients separate on a large plate so people can serve themselves.

This recipe was inspired by a recipe by Mandi Grantham and the Facebook group ‘Moms with Muscles’. When Chad saw it, he just HAD to try it. They are like tiny little meatloaves made in muffin tins rather than loaf pans. These are a complete meal in itself…just add a salad!
