Grilled Chicken Food Prep

Grilled Chicken Food Prep

Is that title a mouthful or what? Well, it’s not rocket science! It’s fun to make things sound much more glamorous than they really are. It’s even more fun to make them taste as good as they sound! Polenta is a gluten-free lower-calorie pasta-like food that’s popular in Italy and the American south made from milled yellow corn. It was named by one website as “The World’s Sexiest Carb”, which made me feel pretty nice about recommending it to you!

Bodacious Blueberry Protein Pancakes

Banana Nut Protein Pancakes

After being on a virtual banana tirade where everything had to be made with bananas, I was getting “banana-ed out”. I was totally craving pancakes but not wanting to fall into a carb coma, so I googled protein pancake recipes. Problem is they all seemed to contain either bananas or an astronomical amount of calories. I finally succumbed to turning myself into a food guinea pig and substituted the bananas for Greek yogurt.

Mocha Mint Protein Shake

Mocha Shake

What a way to start the day! You get a nice shot of caffeine and EFX Sports chocolate protein together in a minty and totally refreshing way. Sometimes it’s just too hot to drink coffee, but it’s never too hot for this mocha mint protein shake recipe! This is a super-fave of mine right about now in the heat of summer. Seriously, two of my favorite things in the whole world mixed together—coffee and mint!

Peanut Butter Banana Builder Protein Ice Cream

Peanut Butter Banana Builder Ice Cream

Here is a very cool idea for summer: Peanut Butter Banana Builder Protein Ice Cream! This is what you could eat to pack on muscle mass for some serious ‘gainz’ while keeping cool this summer. It’s made with neutral flavor Karbolyn and EFX Sports Vanilla Pure Whey protein. The entire recipe makes about a pint and has around 1,300 calories. So, if you want to split it with your significant other, it would be about 650 calories each. If you want to split it four ways, then it’s about 325 calories… and… well, you get the picture.
