Here’s a super easy recipe that anyone can make! All you do it mix, pour, sprinkle, and freeze for a delicious high-protein guilt-free snack. It’s loaded with nutrients, fiber, and super-foods as well. The cold creamy vanilla with the chewy dried fruit and the crunchy nuts and seeds make it a full-on sensory experience. Plus, you can avoid the drive to the frozen yogurt shop, the high fructose corn syrup, the added calories, and the six dollars or more per serving cost! I don’t care if it’s snowing out—it’s never the wrong season for frozen yogurt. You want frozen yogurt, I want frozen yogurt, we all want frozen yogurt… so I will cut to the chase!
Ingredients:
- 2 scoops Vanilla EFX Sports Isolate
- 1 packet of stevia
- 1 tbsp. dried goji berries
- ½ cup plain nonfat yogurt
- 1 tbsp. dried cherries
- 1 tbsp. dried blueberries
- 8 pecans or walnuts, broken up small
- 1 tsp. chia seeds
Directions:
Line a cookie sheet with a clear plastic bag cut down the sides and spread flat. The plastic bag works better because it’s more flexible than tin foil and won’t come apart, leaving tin foil particles in your food. Mix the yogurt, protein, chia seeds, and stevia in a bowl, then spoon it onto the lined cookie sheet. Sprinkle the dried berries and nuts on top, and put the tray in the freezer. It freezes very quickly because it’s such a thin layer, and in less than an hour, it’s ready to eat! Take it out right before you are ready to eat it because it melts pretty fast.
