Low Carb Chocolate Protein Bars

  • Yield:1 serving
  • Difficulty:Easy
  • Time:30 minutes

Today, I have some great news! There is a super easy way to make your own protein bars instead of buying them! So, you can save lots of money. Now here’s more good news: YOU DON’T HAVE TO COOK! Plus, they are low carb too…and low fat…and low calorie.

Now, you might be wondering—are they edible? Do they taste even remotely good? Well, put it this way. If you think brownies are good, then you will absolutely love these! These bars are so low calorie, you can even make two bars instead of three, and they’ll still be less than 200 calories each.

Ingredients:

¼ cup coconut flour
2 scoops Training Ground Isolate chocolate protein
1/2 tbsp. cocoa powder
1 packet of stevia
¾ cup almond milk
A few dehydrated strawberries for looks

Directions:

Put all of the powder in a large bowl. Pour half of the almond milk in and stir with a fork. It will be a bit dry, so sprinkle in little bits of the remaining almond milk in, and stir each time you sprinkle some in. When you have a batter you think is a decent consistency to form bars with, separate into 3 parts. You probably will not use all of the almond milk. Wet your hands and roll them into a log shape. Finally, press each one onto a piece of parchment paper, plate, or Tupperware that has been hit with a shot of nonstick spray. If you have dehydrated strawberries (you can buy them in many health food stores), press them into the tops of the bars. The bars will always be a little sticky, like the higher quality bars you buy at the store, so you may want to keep the parchment paper with them to keep your fingers clean. Put them in the freezer for 30 minutes and enjoy!
