Summer’s here… and what better way to celebrate than with this delicious and healthy version of Pina Coladas. Especially when you don’t have to feel guilty about drinking them! These Pina Coladas will go straight to your biceps, not your belly. Best of all, they’re super easy to make!
A key ingredient in this recipe is pineapple. In fact, former Mr. Olympia Franco Columbo was a huge proponent of pineapple. He would include it with his meals because the enzyme bromelain (found in pineapple) helps make it more absorbable by the body.
Ingredients:
1 scoop vanilla EFX Sports Pure Whey
¾ tray of ice cubes
1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple
3 packets monk fruit sweetener
1 packet stevia
1 capful coconut baking extract
Directions:
Simply place all ingredients in a blender and mix until you reach the desired thickness. Pour, drink…and enjoy celebrating summer with this healthy alternative!
By the way, you may wish to add whipped cream. Just keep in mind it does contain sugar (I know…that’s cheating!). You can also try adding a pinch of unsweetened coconut flakes for a garnish if you are on a cutting diet.
